What is Dysport?

Dysport is an injectable neuromodulator that temporarily reduces movement in the muscles where it’s injected to relax them and reduce the depth of wrinkles. It is approved for use in the glabellar lines, which are the vertical frown lines between the eyebrows, commonly called “11’s.”

What is Dysport used for?

How long does Dysport last?

Most patients see dramatic skin-smoothing within just a few days of their Dysport injection. The results typically last for three to four months, depending upon how quickly your body metabolizes the Dysport.

What is the difference between Botox and Dysport?

Botox and Dysport are both neuromodulators that use botulinum toxin A to inhibit muscle movement where injected. By reducing movement, both Dysport and Botox relax the facial muscles to reduce the depth of wrinkles.

Does Dysport last longer than Botox?

Patients may see the results of Dysport sooner than Botox, but for most people, the results from both neuromodulators last the same length of time.
